It's not out there, RG, that very thing is discussed in "Iodine and Breast Cancer". The thyroid has a great effect on mental health. You know, when this forum first started a lot of folks thought we were nuts cuz we were all so giddy...turns out, well, they were right:) Happy thyroids = happy people!! :D (seriously)
