Hi,

I read this post a little late and appreciate your predicament, and hope your boy is OK by now! I feel the same way about avoiding Antibiotics , although I appreciated your considering them -- I also try to keep in mind that they are sometimes useful. That said, I read something the other day by a doctor who said that if one has to use Antibiotics , not only to follow up with a course of probiotics, but also an antifungal. He mentioned some prescription medicine, but I plan on using coconut oil if my toddlers ever need Antibiotics . I think that not only gut problems but candida are a result of antibiotics use.

Anyway, just thought I would throw this out there!!
