Getting in the Mainstream is a double edged sword. Things will generally get very diluted
once they hit the mainstream. The MC forum is a good example. I was around when the first articles on Robin Quivers doing the MC hit the gossip rags and the forum got inundated by dieters and all but became useless for any meaningfull discussion of the MC. It has taken quite a while and a lot of vigilance to get it back to where some reasonable discussions on the actual purpose of fasting is. We still get a pretty big share of dieters.

On a bigger scale outside of Curezone now that the MC has hit the mainstream it actual purpose and function has just been about obscured by the profiteers that stand to make money by preying on the gullibe and desperate dieters looking for that magic bullet.

Hitting the mainstream and "becoming famous" will in the vast majority of cases lead to mediocrity............................
