thank you Reb32 for the detailed explanation for CEREC. I will keep that in mind when I decide to have my first molar filling replaced.

I called the dentist's office to ask them to remove the mercury that he had missed and here is what he had to say. "He says that the mercury that shows is very small amount, it is embedded deep inside the cavity and it could be stain and also that small amount is also made up of other substance besides mercury. He said I should worry about it if it was on the surface as it is the chewing that would release the vapours but if it is deeply embedded there should not be any fear of it. He said it was irresponsible of my present cleaning dentist to point that out." I myself did see in the xray that it was deep inside.

Reb32, does this makes sense to you? All the same I will not go back to this dentist again and have to find a good biological dentist in Toronto. And I will get a second opinion on that tooth.

I wonder if any of the forum members could recommend one to me.
