Hi Schluggell!
Well without reading all the design instructions over,I have to ask what then is that little 1/2 inch hole about 5or6 inches form the bottom on the side of the bucket or bins? Maybe Im wrong but I would think it would be an outlet to keep water levels low enough!
Besides that yes I do like the wicking technique and left plants unattended for several days with out haveing to water them, a great convenience if one has to go away for a few days!
