My teachings were in the Wu Tang (Mountains, not Clan) tradition, which is different from Mantak Chia's lineage. The Inner Smile meditation that I learned is very similar, although the order in which one smiles to the organs is different than this article describes. This article (not written by Chia) lists the organ order as heart, lungs, liver, spleen and kidneys. What is confusing is that the author describes this as the cycle of creation (or the way that energy circulates through the organs in a regenerative manner). However, this is not the cycle of creation. That is why I included the second link which shows the creation cycle as the heart, spleen, lungs, kidneys, liver and so on. This is the order of smiling that I learned. Also, all of our meditations began and ended in emptiness.
