I am a first year nursing student at the moment. Last december i had my 2nd hep B vaaccine, and the day afterwards i developed severe exhaustion, sore throat which lasted overa week before i had antibiotics, and muscle and joint pain and fatigue. My GP gave me antibiotics, which cured it for two weeks, it then came back, and went away after one more course. I just thought i had suffered from a terrible cold and thought no more of the problem, i thought at the start that the vaccine may have caused it, but thought i was being ludicrous. I now know the vaccine was the cure. On Friday i had my third, and on saturday woke with a terrible sore throat and muscle and joint pain. I have felt exhausted ever since, and develpoed a cough, and this morning, wednesday, awoke with diahrroa and sickness. Have a GP appointment tomorow and hoping for antibiotics, but i know that if this hasn't worked when i have my blood test in two months time, knowing what do now, i would rather quit nursing than have anymore vaccinations. Its not worth it, there more careers!!
