I have grown an organic garden for years, and used raised beds and lasagna gardening. I have great success with everything except for squash and cucumbers. Every year I battle with squash bugs and cucumber beetles using every organic method I can find, but I always loose. One year I had so many cucumber beetles that they were like a swarm - and I really poured on the neem oil and anything else I could come up with. But no luck. I never get a good crop of squash or cucumbers. Well, my squash and cucumbers are up and looking good, but I have already found my first squash bug. Help!!!! Can anyone give advise???? Is there anything I can do at this stage to head them off?
