I have read (several various posts over the months) of reports that doses of 1000-6000 mg of Lugol's was commonly used for cardiac/asthmas/bronchial cases of patients in the same basic time frame.

Hmmm, it seemed like 'back then', doctors were actually trained and trying to find a CURE for what ailed us :)
