Can anyone tell me a simple process for growing sprouts? I just bought a pound each of organic alfalfa, broccoli and radish seeds. I started with the alfalfa in a jar covered with cheesecloth, and rinsed 2-3 times/day, putting back in enough filtered water to cover the seeds and after about 7 days, I am barely getting any growth. I feel foolish asking how to do this, it seems like something we should all know how to do.

I am wanting to do this for the vitamins and enzymes and supplement not being able to get as much fresh local produce through the winter.
