I am not sure if I should post this here or not because it's a personal experience. It has a lot of meaning for me.

Last month I began to notice a bird in one of my huge ferns I have hanging on my front porch. Every time I watered that fern, the bird would fly away. Then I noticed the fern wasn't growing on one side the same way my other ferns were growing, so I took the fern down and to my amazement, I discovered a bird's nest with four brightly colored blue eggs. For the first time in my life, I took the time to really look at that nest. It was one of my "Eureka Moments." It was the most perfectly formed nest.....pine straw and cotton all woven into a perfectly round shape. Four little eggs sat there waiting to hatch.

The next day, in my back yard, I spotted another nest in my gardenia bush. Again, I saw the most perfectly formed bird's nest that had been woven into a little circle and inside that nest were four speckled bird eggs. This nest even had little pieces of paper woven inside the nest.

Seeing those nests got me to thinking about how a bird can make that perfect nest. I got some pine straw, twigs, cotton, etc., and sat down trying to weave a nest like those birds and guess what? Couldn't do it........My pine straw broke and the cotton would not bind with that straw. It was right then and there that I knew that there is definately something out there way smarter than me that shows those birds exactly how high to build those nests and the materials they need to complete this impossible task. I mean, it's not like birds have hands. They have a beak and two feet and look what they can do.......

Maybe you have already been amazed at the sight of a bird's nest and maybe you haven't. But, I challenge you to take the time to explore nature. It's way better than TV or even your computer.
