I'm with you on being cautious about true healing vs. the magic bullet. Not sure just how it works, but if it drives oxygen in, it might "clean up" the problem for the moment.

As some have said, it doesn't "cure" anything, but sure helps out while you try to figure what to do.

With my problem, I immediately started concentrating on minerals!
