I have one banana each morning, in a smoothie with maca, as they are a natural pro-biotoc and good source of slow-release energy. Bear in mind though that as they get riper the natural sugars in them increase so it's best not to over-do it with bananas if you feel you may be suffering with candida issues or you are diabetic.

Wholegrain bread is definately better than white as the wheat in it is milled with the husk still on the grain (and this is the bit with all the goodness in) whereas white flour has it removed before milling. If you are removing wheat from your diet to see it's affect on your Acne then obviously don't eat wholegrain and opt for breads made with other grains such as rye or spelt. Rice cakes are also a yummy and wheat free alternative to bread
