Listen here's the thing. It's impossible for anyone to say how long OR what you should do to get better. Any doctor...be it alternative or other wise can't possibly know either. And most will not acknowledge candida. What can they possibly do anyway that could be helpful? Allopathic docs don't treat on a holistic level.

In my opinion, I'd just concentrate on changing your total lifestyle. Change you diet to be as healthy as possible, get a juicer, and start a cleansing program. Start adding back your good flora that was lost. All that will a most likely go a lot further than taking RX/s. Your body is toxic and taking RX/s won't change that. I was on and off them for around a year and it did me no good. I'm doing much better these days, but it has taken me years. Unfortunately, there are no easy or fast fixes.
