Hi loonargirl,

I am so happy for you and I am sure you will start feeling soooo much better with it out - I have come to the conclusion that we know our own bodies better than any doctor. I was also told that my 'symptoms' were me and nothing to do with the Mirena. All I can say is that after only 5 days most of the symptoms are completely gone. I am starting to regain my energy and feeling interested in things again (I have been for an early morning swim for the past 3 days which would have been impossible a few weeks ago - it was a big enough struggle to get out of bed!). I really wish you all the best...

PS the first day was hard for me as I felt really nauseous and had to stay in bed, but I assume that was due to my body de-toxing. Not everyone reacts the same way but it may be worth trying to keep the first day as free as possible to rest and recover x
