I used to have very bad cracked peeling lips, I got mostly better with evening primrose oil and borage oil but certain foods still seem to cause me to peel sometimes. I have noticed that drinking lemon juice can really heal up this peeling quickly, if my lips are peeling I drink four or five tablespoons of lemon juice (bottled, organic from the health food store). They heal quickly after this usually by the next day. If it doesnt work 100% I drink even more lemon juice. Seems to work for me very consistently. I have no idea why this works, just glad I found something that heals them fast, also helps with acne.
