"but honestly, Newport, this stuff is over my head. I am NOT a scientist by any means"

You know what, Wombat? You do not need to be a scientist in this respect. I've read plenty enough of your posts to know you are an intelligent, capable person with a well-rounded base of knowledge. This ..... support debate :) is a tiny piece of evidence of one of the seams that can occur in this world due in large part to "science"....seams, like a dividing line or merger or transition of two otherwise seeimingly similar things that, whether they like it or not, they must come/join together, after a fashion. In this case it seems like one of those kinds of seams in play here is the kind that appear between real/genuine Science and pseudo science. The latter has been increasingly coming to dominate us in our world of recent decades. One of the better, more polished skills pseudo (AKA> junk science) has developed is the capacity to put on an excellent front that they are (and represent) conducting genuine science; they aren't. I'm not saying the fellow you talked to (huricane warning guy) is necessarily cut from this mold, but chances are good he is at least employed by a corp that is. This may explain why many of such "science" adherents (be they knowing, or more typically just dumb downed drones who don't know any better, 'cause they are just another somebody working an 8-5 trying to "put food on the table") will be quite happy to tell anyone willing to listen, to sell them (and further promote such "science) and convince you/me/us that we are not qualified - because we are not "scientists" like they are, and therefore are unable to to grasp/understand the underlying situation at hand (Lugol's, in this case) because we may be in over our heads. Baloney.

The only thing all of us may be in....well, maybe not over our heads, yet, but definitely deep enough in that we would be well advised to be wearing our waders or hip boots, is the BS that such pseudo scientist are so want to dredge up to make themselves out to be something they are not; above us.

It also seems that part of what is going on here is the psyops factor trying diligently to convince us un-scientists that Lugol's that was the same Lugol's 50 years ago is no longer Lugol's today; apparently Lugol's is not Lugol's, anymore. Making this even more confusing is that the backdrop to this is the national (and perhaps global) transition that is occuring, as we speak, with respect to things regulatory, like CODEX, FDA/DEA "laws", etc. Before our very eyes we are witnessing what seems to be the formal, official, federally funded death of Iodine. How else could we also now be witnessing the convoluted situation whereyby Lugol's cannot be gotten, OTC, in the states, because, we are told it is no longer "legal to be gotten from a drug store without a prescription", but mysteriously, can be gotten, without prescription, on-line, for now..... ? Ultimately, something needs to account for this, to reconcile it. Psyops and the entire syndication of fradulent activity of the collective criminal "authorities" involved seems the most likely answer to me at the moment. I do reserve the right to revise my opinion on this if/when new information comes into my awareness.

No doubt we are all at a "different place" with respect to one and other as far as where any of us is in our mission to let go of certain things we've been conditioned most of our lives to hang onto even if/when we don't know why we hang on to them. Letting go of the myth and mythos that our collective authorities in this context has any genuine concern for anyone beyond the view of their own proft/loss margin is probably one of the most difficult things any of us will ever have to try to learn to let go of; lotta angst, and possibly tears, and frustration, and disbelief, to be encounted along this path.

Lugol's is Lugol's is Lugol's. If what Clarkson is selling is USP-grade (or better) 5% I, 15% KI and 85% distilled water, and ONLY these 3 ingredients, then I cannot imagine how this Clarkson product can NOT be for internal use. Neither can I see any rational chance that my imagination will be helped in this case by me being a scientist. Just reserving room to be wrong on this due to things I do not know, the only thing I can guess at is that there are different forms/sources of elemental Iodine being used "out there", as well as different forms of KI....just trying to give benefit of the doubt. All I know is that, historically, elemental Iodine was first derrived due to a mishap with rendering Kelp to ash. Does the manufacturer who makes the Lugol's sold through JCrows or Clarkson or Medex or any other we know about still using elemental Iodine derrived from Kelp?... I dunno.

Peace and love :)
