It seems to me that he was blaming his mother for his problems.

I'm pretty sure his mother did not encourage him to be gay. "Son, go and have sex with that man!" "Son, if you don't start acting more gay I am going to ground you!" "Son, I don't want a big, strong young man for a son, I want a fag, a homo, a girlish, femme of a young man. If you act that way I will co-sign for your new car."

That graffitier has serious issues with his sexuality. He seems to have issues with his mother, too.
