Sorry, but I obsess over healthy hair; some people would say that's an under statement. The reason why I say to not put Iodine on your hair, is because I used Iodine at the nape of my neck- applied to a blemish, and the hair burned off. Now, that was not diluted iodine, but full con. Of course, Iodine in a hot bath is diluted and therefore would not be as strong. I simply do not want to chance damaging my hair and so I don’t recommend iodine for the hair -at any concentration. If it works for you, then keep using it.
