I never rinse with the salt rinse but if you've got a lot of bad bacteria it'd probably be a good idea. typically I rinse with water and/or brush with soap (got rid of a lot of my plaque believe it or not.)

Listerine is actually pretty bad... I'm trying to remember why-- like the alcohol dries out your mouth and keeps saliva from forming, which allows the bad bacteria to effect your mouth more--
