Does anyone know when it is crucial to cut the ligament above the front teeth. My daughter is 12 and has all permanent teeth and a very small space between the front teeth. The Ligament is tight at times and has bothered her occassionally. What is the best way and when is the best time to adress this? What anesthesia is safest? What happens if you don't do it? Cost?
