I don't think ANYone on this board has EVER disagreed with the truth that people should take the dosage that they feel most comfortable with...and that if they feel as though their organs of elimination (kidneys, liver, skin) are overburdened or if the symptoms of the poisons in their bloodstream is concerning them, they should definitely listen closely to their OWN 'doctor within' and adjust their dosage accordingly, take some time off, up their intake of salt, do liver flushes, coffee enemas, kidney cleanses, liver/kidney fomentations, ES baths, etc, etc, etc.
I don't know how anyone else feels, but things like "some people overdose on iodine"; "may become Iodine toxic with an overdose"...are VERY scary words to someone starting to exhibit the signs of decades worth of poison exiting their body, or trying to determine whether or not they need to start replenishing their bodies depleted state (and those words are based on years of misinformation in the scientific/medical/allopathic world). Although you may have meant well, those words have the potential of having incredibly lasting negative impact, on the hundreds of people that will eventually read them.
Please consider that there are many of us 'CZ old timers' that have literally spent "weeks of hours" doing research and self-experimentation BEFORE we uttered/typed one word of advice...and we have spent the same amount of time (or MORE) joyfully & willingly helping others to find the TRUTH about Iodine....and helping them to overcome the fear & misinformation that 'the system' has pounded into their thinking for decades.
Almost every forum on CZ has it's own "personality" :) :( One of the many facets of this forum is making sure that all advice given is both factual & documented by honest research & data.
My intent was NOT to offend nor 'attack'; it was to make sure that the uneducated didn't mistake symptoms of detox as 'overdoses of iodine' or 'iodine toxicity'...both of which are virtually unheard of in reality when dealing with Lugol's or Iodoral.
