>>> I had a question for you <<< And I have some answers for you :)
1. Are all the flours brominated? Which ones are safe to use?
ALL of them (that are not labeled: without bromine, or unbrominated). Here is a link that lists some of the brands that do NOT use bromine (and lots more information, too):
//www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=848109#i
(the list of 'safe breads' is toward the bottom of the page)
2. Which brand of Vitamin C should I use? Do u have any links?
Sigh, I don't have time to find all the links I've read to lead me to my conclusions (but they ARE out there to be found...have a blast searching :). Here's my thinking. The researching doctors use BUFFERED Vitamin C (the most common 'brand' is Ester C)...and they say that the 'buffering' is necessary to help repair the problem that SOME people have with Iodine absorbtion. So if one thinks they have a problem with absorbing iodine, the buffered Vitamin C is definitely the way to go there.
In your case, you have bad diarrhea (not FROM the iodine, but almost assuredly because the Iodine released high levels of bromine into your bloodstream from your tissues (diarrhea IS a common symptom of bromine poisoning/detox). Logical thought: you've shown symptoms of bromine detox (which basically proves that you have NO problem with absorbtion of iodine!), therefore the only reason you would need the Vitamin C is as an antioxidant to assist your body in dealing with/removing the toxins. Since that is almost positively the case, virtually any brand/type of Vitamin C will work. Yes, there are those who would/could debate the various types of Vitamin C until they are exhausted (and WE are exhausted), but ALL forms of Vitamin C are definitely an antioxidant. If you care to get into the details and 'hair splitting' discussions, I'm not your gal :) Head yourself on over to the Vitamin C forum and you can get yourself lots of information for consideration (and/or confusion).
Me & me hubby? We've been taking the Esther C since we started taking iodine, but we're SURE we have no problems with absorbtion, so we're switching to Ascorbic Acid powder (which is wayWayWAY cheaper). We get ours here:
http://stores.ebay.com/The-Chemistry-Connection
(just type the word: ascorbic ,into the search box, and you see the options. We're PowerSellers on eBay, so we support other eBay sellers whenever we can)
Also, at the Vitamin C Forum, if you'll do some searching, you find recipes to make your own buffered Vitamin C (I think all you have to do is add baking soda to the Ascorbate powder). That would be MUCH cheaper than buying Esther C or buffered C. But honestly, I really doubt you need the buffered C, because it sounds to me like you've already 'proven' that your body absorbs iodine.
3. I got bad diarrhea from Iodine. So bad that I was feeling very weak and depleted. So I stopped the iodine. I am planning to start again with some Vitamin C supplementation.
I don't how much/how long your took the iodine, but if you took enough for enough time, you DID release stores of bromine from the tissues/organs in your body...and diarrhea IS one of the symptoms of that! And of course, feeling weak and depleted (either because of the diarrhea AND/OR because your blood had poison in it that it didn't before), would certainly be considered "normal". ('Getting the picture as to just HOW horrible bromine is? and how poisoned we've been? Grrrr).
Another possible issue: high dosages of Vitamin C are known to produce diarrhea, but the diarrhea usually comes after significant flatulence...and it's usually very short-lived (especially if you just 'back off' on the Vitamin C). How much C produces diarrhea? That's totally individual. I've ALWAYS used Vitamin C is doses of 5000mg+ (2-3 times daily when I feel a cold coming on), and that amount usually only gives me the toots. However someone that's NEVER taken Vitamin C might have the same effect from only a few thousand mgs. I doubt it was the C that gave you the diarrhea, but I wanted to be sure and point it out.
*!*!* If you are exhibiting signs of bromine detox, it is very important to take up to a teaspoon and a half of natural salt (sodium chloride) daily (or potassium chloride, or magnesium chloride). This does NOT include salt used on food. It should be taken mixed with ample water )or put the salt directly on your tongue and chase it with at least a cup of water). I find it best to do 1/4 - 1/3 teaspoon of salt several times daily. The chloride in the salt helps the kidneys to remove the poison/bromine from your blood and eliminate in the urine.
4. I have started taking some CHLORELLA. Do you think its a good idea?
I don't know what reason you have for taking it, but I think Chlorella is ALWAYS a good idea. It's in my SuperFood everyday...and will be for the rest of my life.
Also, please read this post that lists almost ALL the symptoms one could have when dealing with bromine detoxification:
//www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=850602#i
I think that about covers everything (at least what I know of 'everything' at this given moment :)
