Those are some good ideas for the wedding--i think we are going to do a country church wedding--but both of us are firefighters--I would like to incorporate some of this into the wedding but not over do it--also like cheaper the better but I don't want it to look cheap (if that makes sense) I like the idea of a cookout for the reception--sounds fun & not too stressful to put together. My fiance used to work for a bbq pit & we're thinkin about having them do the rehearsal dinner--they're still great family friends so that would be fun. Also my grandma does wedding cakes so I think I'm gonna ask her to do ours. I would like to do roses and some kind of white flower--any ideas of how to find roses cheap--my aunt does floral arrangements so I just need flowers to do them. Also ideas on cool invitations and such--don't think I need to do rsvp--just plan on a crowd & go with the flow.
I also would like financial advice for after marriage & how to "set-up" our gift list so that we get what we need & not what we don't. I'm so exicted right now tha t this is all I can think of--wedding, planning, being with the love of my life 4ever. I think about "this is actually me making wedding plans" It feels exciting but almost in sense that this couldn't be me. I guess cause I always thought of "when I grow up" I am grown up now, getting married, we've talked about the size family we want (both agree 1-2 kids) I just can hardly believe I've found the one for me and we're planning on starting our life together (as a married couple) Anyway enough of the crazy talk--any other ideas appreciated--love the ones I've got so far.
