My source is http://www.ccsilver.com/silver/superfines.html for the best price and quality. Shop and compare. I don't think you can find it any less expensive than than CC Silver. They sell flat for the Silvergen and round for the silverpuppy. You will need to modify the ends though for both of these. Silvergen clips a U shape out of theirs and Silverpuppy has brass holders/nibs on the end of theirs. If you don't want to mess with it just buy rods from the CS gen maufacturer.
