Actually, it sounds like you have an unresolved infection which can be for several reasons such as not completing treatment or possibly another tooth being abscessed. You need to see a dentist ASAP as unresoved dental infections are a constant strain on your immune system, and in the worst case senario can even be deadly. Make an appointment today if possible.
