Thank you for your replies.
I know this person to eat an exemplary diet, no fluoride, no drugs, no wheat products, no diabetes or other mentioned diseases. She did have a history of breast disease. For general health reasons, before learning of Dr. Abraham, already took ample vitamin C, magnesium and selenium.
She is switching to Iodoral immediately, starting with 50 mg and will work up to 100 mg. She will retest in 3 months. She appears to be like some others who cannot get an adequate loading test number on Lugol's. I wonder how low her Iodine levels had been before starting Lugol's for years ago.
She seems to have absorbed much of the Iodoral given to her in the loading test where you take 50 mg at the beginning of the test and then check how much is excreted over a 24 hour period. So, I think we can rule out a lack of absorption of Iodoral.
Dr. Abraham points out that the goal is to get your tissues so saturated that you excrete 90% of the Iodoral you are given the day of the test in a 24 hour period.
