I have watched my skin become dry, then soft, then dry, then soft...always getting softer. I chalk it up to apoptosis (iodine 'refreshes' the preprogrammed cell death that is erased/limited when cells start to mutate).

The last two days, the skin on my arms, legs & face looks like I'm a snake about to shed; when I scratch it, it leaves MAJOR white marks. Methinks it the skin dying like it was supposed to, and it's going to be "OH-so-soft" underneath :)

Hopefully I'll have the time to take an iodine/ES bath tomorrow and give it some help!
