Personal experience only.

-Iodine has cured my plantars wart,
- relieved fibromialgia pain,(time will tell if this can be considered a cure)
-solved chronic sleep disorder,
-increased healing time of broken bone (my sons broken wrist healed in less than 4 weeks while using Iodine and it was predicted to take at least 7-8 weeks) I really believe the reason his injury healed so quickly is because of the Iodine and supporting vit. supplements he took while healing.
