yes, you are right about the oxidase. The study doesn't specify if combining Champion and manual press the results in this would change. But:
- There is a precise statement in the study saying so (champion+people's press being the best way to extract juice from your carrots), unluckily being an Adobe document I don't know how to paste it, it is towards the end of the text. So this is the conclusion of the study.
- Anyway, in the first graph presented you can see that amylase is higher with Nrowalk, but peroxidase is much higher with People's Press.
- Further down the author states that with People's Press you would extract 20% more juice that with Norwalk. I've always heard that the last juice extracted is also the richest, but in terms of enzymes I don't know if this is true. Anyway the same carrots would give you 20% enzymes more, evidently. The comparative study is done on the basis of the extracted juice, if you changed the graph basing it on the quantity of carrots used the solution with Champion+PeoplePress would be coming out as by far the best.

All and all, I with my criteria that might be different from yours, would keep the Champion and buy the People's Press, having like this also the chance to use Champion only, when you are in hurry. But I deduct this conclusion only from your study, as I have no direct experience with these juicers.
