A dear friend of mine just confided in me that she is addicted to Vicodin, and has been for over two years. She was up to 8 pills per day (I'm not sure of the mg's, but I know that these are the 'strong' vicodin pills). She has weaned herself down to three per day.

Anyway, she told me today that she needs to stop, but when she tries, she gets severe anxiety and 'flu-like' symptoms, and just feels generally crummy. Has anyone here ever been addicted to Vicodin or Oxycodone? Are there any herbs to help her detox be more comfortable?

Any help you can give is very appreciated.
