silver is good for preserving food. but due to the actions of silver on pathogens, it would be ineffective for sterilizing food to eat. leave that to H2O2. get food grade and dilute it to wash veggies and fruits and berries in. there is the chance of hep and other disease being transmitted from the handlers of the food.
