My heart goes out to you, and what you are going through. Based on the hideous side effects I have seen posted here in healthy, adult females, I think I would also be extremely nervous about giving birth to a baby exposed to the Mirena in utero. In this case, has the doctor suggested you have a specialist contact Berlex to determine what the suggested course of action is when pregnancy occurs with a Mirena in place? I would definitely want two or three opinions about what to do, as it would be incredibly difficult for everyone involved, most especially the fetus, if there were very serious birth defects as a result of this obviously highly toxic birth control.
