Pat, I tried the experiment but I am not sure it worked. I used a mixing bowl which I figured was stainless steel. I also used wire from a phone cord but it was thin and seemed to have alot of string like strands inside the copper.

I do have a glass mixing bowl I could use and put the aluminum foil in it. Does it matter if the aluminum is one giant piece that covers the inside and outside of the bowl. I did not use foil with the stainless steel mixing bowl. Also next time I guess I will use the foil for the wires. thanks for any feed back. If anyone is in the atlanta georgia area and has a properly working LWM machine I would be interested in buying some water from you, as well as watching the machine make the water. thanks
