We measured the drop in EMFs using a Graham-Stetzer gauge meter and the level dropped significantly when we plugged in the XPower. Unfortunately, my MCS friend could not tolerate having the unit plugged in for reasons none of us understand.

This is not to say that other people with MCS would react the same way my friend did. Everyone is different and it is a worthwhile thing to explore as it indeed does reduce EMFs in one's immediate environment.
