Three suggestions come to mind:
1) Get yourself into the Law of Attraction forum and research teh LoA. It will help both of you tremendously.
2) Get your hands on the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" Not sure the authors name but there is more to it than just watching the calendar. A big one is a change in vaginal discharge consistency.
3) Seriously consider visiting a chiropractor from the list found on this site
