in classical homeopathy, spots in fingernails are an indication of a miasm, which cna have broad ranging effects....

true enough it may be caused by a deficiency... but the real question is, why can't your body absorb the required nutrients. the theory of the miasm is powerful and rings very true to me, check it out.
