I'm new to this so... I'm not so sure there is a protocol for any particular ailment. Just do it. The more often the better I would say. I guess coconut oil's lauric acid is supposed to be anti-viral so you may want to use that. Not to mention eat it. Extra virgin only. I like "tropical traditions". On oil pulling I would mix it up a bit really. Maybe sunflower and coconut. I know that taking lysine regularly has helped me to only have two minor outbreaks in the past six years. And I believe the second case I believe was probably a new infection after sharing chap stick with my buddy on baja surf trip. Lysine - Many people know it works but only take it when there is an outbreak occurring. Take it a couple times a week and watch what happens. Stay away from Aspartame and msg. Stay away from acidic foods. i know you want to cure it but this will help until then. And, of course, you are here on this forum, so you may already know a lot of this information.
