As good as it felt to read that (thank you)

God deserves all the credit.

For me, this whole thing was brought about by prayer.

I'll have to write a book over what I've gone through, this life-lesson in health.

But the bottom line is that I finally got my husband to go mostly raw-vegan with me. The benefits were amazing. But I started going downhill again.

I literally got down on my knees begging. I told Him that I KNEW the answer was out there - what is it?

The very next day, Trapper posted an article on Iodine on another health forum that I frequent. I had some leftover Iodine tabs that I had from years back, but quit taking because I received them before my celiac diagnosis. (It's a disease where you do NOT absorb nutrients properly from your food). I had quit taking the pills because they weren't helping me. BUT, thank God, I never threw them away.

I figured, okay. I'm now gluten-free, I've done salt-water cleanses, I've fasted, and I'm now eating mostly raw. I should be able to absorb them NOW!

And so it began

Every single day (and I've only been taking Iodine for two weeks now) is more of a pleasure than the day before.

I took the tabs the first week, and this second week I've been on the detoxified iodine (atomic iodine) which seems to absorb even better and it's gentler (I took a second tablet and my throat and tongue swelled a bit - probably too much too soon)

The credit goes to God, I am still learning that He will help me - every single time - but I must first ASK!

It's as simple as that.
