I totally agree that this particular eczema reaction you're experiencing is a contact dermatitis. Immediately, I recommend that you stop using the cetaphil. Although this product is prescribed and described as a gentle cleanser, due to its synthetic formulation, it is still harmful to the skin. Your skin is craving its natural nourishment. Vitamins A, C, D, and E are some of those beneficial nutrients for which your skin is craving. Essential fatty acids (Omega-3, Omega-6, Omega9, & GLA) are also what the skin craves. Borage oil, vitamin E, flaxseed, and cod liver oil provide the skin those essential nutrients. When looking for products to use on your skin, these are some of the ingredients that should be listed in the product.
Here's my recommendation:
1) Purchase bottled water (purified) to use in washing your skin. I make this recommendation for the immediate short term because I think that your water may be treated with chlorine or fluoride. This process will work for the short term until you are able to purchase a filtration system for your shower head or bathroom sink faucet.
2) For cleansing your face, I recommend the Soap Bark & Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream by Burts Bees.

3) For moisturizing, you can continue to use the vitamin E oil (preferably organic). However, another option is the Ginseng Facial Feed by Forever Spring.

4) Before beginning to use a new cleanser on your skin, you will need to go at least 1 to 2 days without using any cleansers on your skin. You will simply wash with the bottled water. This allows the skin to make the adjustment in between product changes. Through this interim, I also suggest that you place a cold compress on your face for about 30 seconds after washing it to cool the skin and close the pores.
5) Drinking ginger tea will not only help with digestion issues, but also helps the body to combat inflammation.
I wanted to get this message to you quickly so that you could begin to start the process of healing. I will have to post another note later to explain why the nutrients I mentioned above are beneficial to the skin's healing. I also realize that the products I mentioned may or may not be readily available to you in Hong Kong. However, many of the beneficial ingredients (like the ginseng and ginger) have their roots in Asia. You should be able to find natural cleansing products in Hong Kong with no problem. Instead of focusing on medicinal cleansers, switch the focus to nourishing cleansers and skin care items. As a result of focusing on the skin's nourishment, the skin begins to respond with healing.
