Good Morning Jaske!! Well now I would think that you can either clear it or get it depending on the levels in your body, if they are depleted you can get acne, if you have to much you will get a bit of break out but they say that is the bromides leaving or some such thing. So who knows? I don't but I do know I can break out when I'm depleted and have never broken out from it in kelp or Lugol's form. After you iniitally do the paint saturation then stick to eating kelp, it's the best way to keep it up to snuff in your body.
Maybe someone else has something to advise, that's the best I can do hun!
