what if Jesus is a "fallacy"? what if he never existed? for the purposes of this conversation - who cares? the point i am making is that those words are true, regardless of your own personal opinion about the historical nature of Jesus.

the root of the issue is that many of those who aspire to breatharianism do so because they believe they will then achieve some ultimate spiritual high state, and this sets up all sorts of weird pitfalls, and they then start viewing food as "low" and degrading and eating as an animalistic act sure to degrade their spirituality, etc. this is a trap. thats my point. its not true. and can, in fact, lead to eating disorders and other weirdness.

true spirituality is about service and love and regarding others with the same measure as you regard yourself, its about cultivating a relationship with the divine, etc. its not about eating.
