I have multiple physiological food addictions (wheat, legumes, nuts, etc.) and binge eating on them is killing me. In fact, all I can eat healthfully right now is Just Barley grass powder drink. I cannot get anyone to take my addiction and pain seriously, and it is literally crucial for my kidneys, liver, and other organs that I stop. I am all alone and have no-one interested in helping me. I have tried even medical doctors and psychologists. I am financially ruined by both my addiction and by my unsuccessful efforts to get support during recovery. If someone would be willing to "sponsor" me, I will do the same for that person. We do not have to tell details of our lives or of our life-stories. We do not necessarily even have to talk on the phone, if we can email several times a day as necessary. What I'd like is someone just to say,"Don't do it!" when I am about to fall off the wagon, and I'd do the same. And someone to make sure, who even cared, that at the end of the day I kept to my prescribed dietary. I have experience with drinking a lot and am sympathetic to drug addicts of all kinds. I would help keep you on track in return for the same. If preferred, phone could be used. We could respect each other's privacy. I think it would only work if we were absolutely honest and really thought we wouldn't drop out without a word of polite warning/explanation. Please send an email if you think this might work. Perhaps we will save each other's lives.
