I am not sure about that, although she is usually right! (I guess I'll say, "always" since she is a super mother.)

I did see this guy a few years ago. I had not seen him since 1973 -- the fateful year of the Black-Walnut Shiner and the beginnings of my strange beliefs about how men indicate they like you!

He was playing a show with Jello Biafra in Austin and I went down there and after the show I said, "You were in Mrs. Wilbur's first-grade class in Leesburg, Virginia!" He was pretty astonished, and we had a nice lunch the next day, although he certainly didn't fall at my feet asking me where I had been for 28 years.

Maybe he just forgot about the black-eye incident. He seemed to have outgrown any violent tendencies.
