The reason I put it on different areas is because Iodine is used all over the body, the largest concentration of it in the thyroid. No, I don't take Lugol's internally and that is to each his own as to how they would like to take Lugol's. I had one experience years ago where I had gotten hives but now I believe that was due to the high toxic levels of stuff in my body so it probably just responded with overload when given the much needed iodine. I may yet try a drop or two with water this time around and see how I fair.
Yes, I recall the baby oil/iodine mixture for sunbathing, loved the tan with that stuff.
