If you're taking Lugol's (iodine & potassium iodide) is it still necessary to supply extra Iodide (Celtic salt)?

I know that the Atomidine contains only the Iodine - no iodide. I could see that if taking Atomidine, Iodide supplementation would be favorable for excretion of bromine.
