When you state "church today", does this apply to all churches and pastors?

I know some churches have gone astray and there is greed in some, but I refuse to believe it applies to all.

Also: What does Hovind's IRS audit and personal demise have to do with me or other Christians?
Is it because he claims to be a christian and not an atheist?
If he was an atheist or gay, would it be big news in the atheist or gay forum?
