I've been experiencing ill health despite six weeks of fasting and eating extremely healthy. I neglected to eat my regular helpings of kombu and didn't connect it until faith and wom were discussing the Iodine issue in chat so I got to thinking bout my negligence. I decided to apply Lugol's this morning to the bottom of my feet before I left for work, by the time I got to work the stain was gone. I applied more at about lunch hour to my feet, legs and arms. When I got home this evening they were gone so I was discussing this with faith and decided to apply it directly to my thyroid...it literally looked like I was putting water on my throat, there was ABSOLUTELY NO STAIN! It took 8 applications to get a slight light stain! I have since applied it four times and finally have a med/light stain. I also applied it to my breast tissue, three times before I got a slight stain, ovary area and that stained the best than any area I applied it to. I feel like I could bathe in it! I would imagine the depletion of this magnitude is due to the fast I was on and neglect to eating my kombu. The last time I was this deficient was four years ago when I had never used Lugol's or kombu.
Don't forget to eat your kombu! First saturate with Lugol's! = )
