I recently recieved one of the Crystal Clear machines and feel compelled to refute much of the misplaced commentary in this thread.

The machine is quite well made. I have a background in building laboratory bench scale reactors for major oil and petrochemical companies. Using the techniques employed by the wealthiest of organizations, this machine would be considered well made. The electrical problems complained about are non existent in the machine I recieved in January 2007, and design flaws people talk of are also non existant.

I suspect the machine and associated overhead expenses total about half of what the machine is sold for, making the mark-up for this amazing piece of equipment roughly 100%. This is typical of any well designed invention, and in my estimation, well worth the price.

Now, to the water! ....This certainly is the 'REAL DEAL', and can be miraculous in certain situations. For those who expect mindless miracles, it will probably be a waste of time; but for those willing to follow their intuition and stick with a defined regimin, there is a high probability of amazing results. (Anyone who says they can 'guarantee' you specific results in all situations is blindedly ignorant. ..The options and complexities in our life systems are far too complex for current human technologies to lead to such assumptions.)

As a last note, I would like to say that I have had a pleasant experience in dealing with John E. and his staff. John is a bit eccentric, but I would bet anyone reading this forum is also considered eccentric by some of their peers. John is an extremely bright person with something of a 'one track' mind. If you are willing to exchange ideas with him at the level of his choice, he is a very willing and congenial communicator. ..In cases other than that, you may not like the dialogue!

The unit I purchased arrived with some damage to the power supply for the ozone generator. It appeared the unit had been dropped at the factory and not been properly screened during the shipping and packaging process. Contrary to the horror stories told in this forum, John's group willingly shipped me a replacement power supply with nothing more than a phone call involved. .....NOW THAT IS THE KIND OF SERVICE I EXPECT FROM ANY COMPANY!

...Would I reccomend this unit and company to others! ... A resounding yes!!!

P.S. - The only problem I have with the unit is the fact that there is considerable excess steam released into the room while in use. This is not a problem during the winter months; but during the summer or in humid areas, this could be a cause for concern in dealing with interior humidity levels. ..I plan to use mine outside during the warmer months of the year.
