This is certainly something you could try - not having done so myself I would only be guessing as to its efficacy.

The actual "cleansing" action is one of intent. As with all ritual (magickal or otherwise), it is visualization and intent that award very real results.

Space purification aids mental clarity and focus, which benefits greatly any form of meditation or magickal work you may be practicing shortly afterward.
